82 indicted in West Virginia fentanyl, meth and cocaine bust (2024)

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Eighty-two people from West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland were indicted by a grand jury for their alleged roles in a drug trafficking ring that distributed fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine in West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a press release that the investigation yielded 10 kilograms of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, firearms, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in assets.

According to the indictment, the following people were indicted on the following charges:

Gary Bernard Brown, Jr., aka Gee: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base; Distribution of Fentanyl Mixture.
Eric Garner, aka Pops: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base.
Saul Percy Powell, Jr. aka Protégé: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base.
Gary Brown, III, aka G3: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base.
Gary Alexandra Rodriguez, aka Mr. T: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base.
Charles Delroy Singletary: Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute 400 Grams or More of a Fentanyl Mixture; Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, Cocaine, and Cocaine Base.
